We believe that every Christian is either a missionary or a mission field. We, as true believers in Christ, have life, both physically and spiritually, for a purpose beyond ourselves. We have life, to impart life. Jesus Christ has given us the ministry of reconciliation. (II Corinthians 5:17-21) His desire for His church is to go and make disciples. (Matthew 28:18-20) He has work for us to do in our neighborhoods, surrounding area, other States and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
Joy Christian Fellowship has a vision to be actively involved in mission work at home and abroad. Many of its members are reaching out and ministering to people in various ways. Several have been or currently are in foreign countries. We do not have any specific mission work established at this point in time: but have been praying for, considering, and pursuing some possibilities. In this beginning and foundational time as a church we are praying and looking to God to open up the doors He wants us to walk through.
In August 2015 we expect to send Noel and Sarah Ornelas family to Tanzania, Please stand with us in prayer for them as they serve in the foreign mission field.
